- Connection One (www.connectionone.org) - A National Science Foundation Industry/University Cooperative research center working closely with private industry and the federal government on various projects in RF and wireless communication systems, networks, remote sensing, and homeland security. One aspect of the research is the development of integrated RF and wireless circuits-on-a-chip to simplify and enable a small, portable, all-in-one communication device. An additional research focus is the development of efficient architectures and routing techniques for networked applications.
- InCISE (http://incise.asu.edu/) - InCISE is a collaboration of interdisciplinary research units that share expertise in computer and information science, informatics, and their application to research problems in academic disciplines and in our communities. The mission of InCISE is to foster computer science and applications of data storage, security, modeling, visualization, analysis and interpretation in interdisciplinary research, education and entrepreneurship.

- Datasoft – Project Management (U.S.): Datasoft delivers engineering and process efficiencies and deliver lead project management capacity for the technical aspects of design and implementation. Core competencies include Size, Weight, Power & Cost issues (SWAP-C), high-speed board design and wireless network management.
- Iamota - Mobile Applications (Canada): Iamota is a mobile applications service provider that enables movement of web content from any website to a mobile phone. Iamota provides the "go between" platform from web to phone, regardless of whether the content sources are individuals or large corporations.
- Ubidyne - Wireless (Germany): Ubidyne develops industry-leading wireless technology for mobile users. Ubidyne's transmission technology is purely digital, and the company has pioneered the world's first digital radio system.

e-learning
e-learning is using electronic enhancements in the classroom, on the Web, on TV or using other media for enhanced learning. e-learning uses electronic enhancements such as the Web to bridge distances and enable people to learn no matter where they are, to accommodate different learning styles, and to increase the quality of student and faculty interactions. It includes academic and professional training as well as accredited university courses and programs.

- Applied Learning Technologies Institute (http://alti.asu.edu/) - alt^I is dedicated to the advancement of higher education through research, collaboration, and action. The Institute brings together faculty, researchers, students, and professionals, working hand in hand with programmers, engineers, designers, and support staff, toward a common goal; ensuring the success of all learners.
- Technology-Based Learning and Research (TBLR) (http://tblr.ed.asu.edu/) - TBLR's main goal is to provide a unified structure to coordinate various technology-based research and development projects. As an integral part of the College of Education, TBLR focuses on research and large-scale delivery of educational materials as well as technology training and integration using computers and other information and communication technologies.

- EyePower - Education Technologies (Singapore): EyePower Games is a software development company specializing in video and imaging technology. This technology then serves as input to a number of PC and mobile platforms. EyePower has focused on the education sector, and has developed products for students to hone their verbal skills
- Sebit Technologies - eLearning (Turkey): Sebit is an education technology innovation company, which focuses on the empowerment of learners and educators at the K12 level. Sebit has been engaged in licensing its software to school districts around the USA.
- Virtual Training Center – Online education (U.S.): VTC is a non-profit organization that provides innovative technologies to enhance teaching and learning. It is an authorized CISCO Entrepreneur Training Institute and supports business development through web-based training, business plan development courses, case studies, research and chat sessions.

- Global Institute of Sustainability
(http://sustainability.asu.edu/). GIOS conducts research, education, and problem-solving related to sustainability, with a special focus on urban environments. The Institute initiates and nurtures work on issues of sustainability across many departments on the four campuses of ASU, and collaborates with other academic institutions, governments, businesses and industries, and community groups locally, nationally, and globally.

- American Solar Electric (US) - Solar Technology: American Solar is a design-build firm specializing in photovoltaic applications for the commercial and residential sectors. A full service firm, American's expertise is in solar driven systems design, procurement, installation, interconnection and commissioning.
- FScreen Ltd - Solar Energy (China): FScreen is a leader in China in the development and application of concentrated photovoltaic cells designed to harness solar energy.
- Litree Corp - Water purification (China): Litree designs and manufactures membranes for use in water purification plants for city and municipal water plants. The company is working with ASU and the City of Scottsdale to test, develop and commercialize its membranes to comply with US health & safety standards.
